You might be the parent of a World Racer during a pandemic if…

1. You have no idea what the Covid protocols are from day to day.
2. You still wonder what country your Racer will be going to.
3. Or how long they will be staying.
4. Or if they will have to come home at any point.
5. Or if they will be able to do ministry.
6. Or if they will get sick.
7. Or if they will be able to quarantine if needed.
8. Or if… Or if…. Or if…
9. You basically do a LOT of wondering.
10. But you also trust God.
11. You trust he has a plan during this pandemic.
12. You trust your Racer is following that plan.
13. Even when you can’t see the outcome.
14. Even when you don’t know all the details.
15. You grow in your faith.
16. You pray a LOT.
17. You follow Instagram posts and read WR blogs.
18. You glean every bit of information you can.
19. You are amazed at the changes in your Racer.
20. You follow every word about pandemic travel.
21. You are disappointed at all the cancellations and changes that happen because of Covid.
22. You trust God knows the details and the whys.
23. You cry out to him in sorrow on days when you miss your Racer.
24. You cry out to him in joy when you get a phone call, text, or photo.
25. You cry out to him. At all times. 
26. In ways you didn’t before.
27. You see your own transformation in trusting without seeing or knowing.
28. It is freeing.
29. You are tired of the word unprecedented.
30.  But now you use it to describe your faith.
